Tony & Nikki’s Outdoor Rustic Wedding at Heritage Springs

Tony & Nikki’s wedding was at one of my all time favorite venues for photography: Heritage Springs. If you have not seen this place, you have got to take a look at the pictures…one of the best places you will find if you are looking for rustic elegance…did I just coin a new term?

I had a blast at Tony & Nikki’s wedding! The forecast called for storms, but thankfully, they were wrong…at least about the timing. It was a beautiful October day for the outdoor reception which was followed by a fun filled reception full of laughter, dancing, and tears. The storm rolled through McKinney and right into Celina at the end of the reception, where I made good use of their party favors: a yellow Steelers towel would now double as a camera cover. Though the rain was coming in horizontally…everything went smoothly as if there wasn’t a storm at all. (and lucky for me, McKinney isn’t too far, since I had to drive about 20mph the entire way back through the storm).

Congrats Tony & Nikki! It was an honor to be a part of it…and I am excited to have gained new friends long the way.
