That time an Eagle was the ring bearer. No Joke.
White Rock Lake in Dallas is an iconic spot for Dallas lovers to escape the city and enjoy time at the lake. And getting married at The Filter building at White Rock Lake is the perfect Dallas backdrop for a wedding. But it is not every day that this beautiful nature backdrop is seen with eagles and owls. But when the bride works at the zoo, her friends bring birds of prey instead of their kids. So you can say this is a wedding for the books. The Filter Building at White Rock Lake will have trouble topping this one.
The ring bearer was a trained eagle who flew down the aisle on command from the groom. After perching on the grooms arm and delivering the goods, the eagle flew back to the back to watch these two tie the knot. But that isn’t all! The cocktail hour wasn’t all about appetizers and margaritas. No, this cocktail hour had meet and greet with a few owls and eagles. Once that finished up, we headed inside for an incredible reception where only humans were invited. Lots of laughter, lots of dancing, and lots of fun! HoneyBird photobooth kept the guest on the patio entertained with some photo fun. Too bad the owl could’t stick around for the photo booth!
