Sunday Weddings don’t have to end early!

Rustic Grace estate is one of my favorite places to take photos. But you guys knew that!

Sometimes, Sunday weddings have the stigma of being boring and end early. Well, here is proof otherwise! Let’s talk about Katie and Andre and the beautiful fall wedding! These two were a treat to take pictures of! Their families were amazing, their friends were true, and their faith was real. As a photographer, I take a lot of photos and tell a lot of stories…so here is their story, as told by them:

“Our Story began in the Fall of 2012 at a UNT Mean Green tailgate. Our fraternity and sorority had been paired together for the weekend, and being new to Greek Life we were socializing with new friends when we ran into each other during the tailgate. We quickly bonded over our love of country music, growing up in Texas, and spent a good part of the tailgate getting lost in conversation.

Over the next couple of years our friendship began to blossom as we spent more time together. You could often find us studying at the library, supporting each other in Greek life events, spending many evenings singing along to country songs in the car, or frequenting McAlister’s.

There was a time that life took us in different directions and we lost touch, but that all changed back in November of 2016. Andre was in Dallas working when Katie and her roommate happened to run into him, with a blink of an eye it was like a spark had been connected. If you had been a fly on the wall that night you would have witnessed our friendship picking up right where it left off. It only took Andre a couple of weeks before he asked me to officially be his girlfriend, and in the race for love we were off. We now know that this was God’s plan for our lives, and are excited to see what the futures holds for us.”
