A few weeks back, I enjoyed getting to know the Dodson’s when I took maternity portraits for them at a local Frisco McKinney park (just north of Dallas). They included their almost 2 year old, so they were more like family portraits; its fun to include big siblings in maternity pictures. This time around, my wife and I got to capture their newest addition, only 6 days old. Their sweet little girl did wonderfully for our studio session. Since Baby Sophie was born only a few days before Christmas, Shaye wanted to capture some pictures commemorating this time of year. I love how the stocking pictures turned out, as well as the other sweet Christmas-y pictures. We also did a few in her nursery (which was one of the coolest I’ve ever seen).
