Rooftop wedding to start your year!

Let’s start 2020 with one of my favorite weddings of all time! A rooftop wedding at 2616 Commerce Event Center in Deep Ellum could not have been a more stunning backdrop for Ashley and Christian’s wedding! I will admit…it was insanely hot. Like over 110 degree hot. But well worth it it! The view from 2616 Commerce Event Center of the Dallas skyline is stunning! And to have that as the backdrop of your wedding? Yes, please!

Ashley and Christian are the sweetest couple! I could not take enough photos of these two because they were smiling the entire night! They have been together for years, so this night was highly anticipated and filled with so much joy and emotion!

The wedding ceremony was on the 2616 Commerce Event Center rooftop. Following the wedding we stayed on the room to get some of my favorite photos I have ever taken with the skyline in the background. I am especially in love with the one of her veil in the air – you will have to scroll down to see it!

Their reception was just below the rooftop wedding in their reception space. And it was amazing! This crowd was so much fun and the DJ was incredible! It felt like I was at a concert with the dance floor so packed! They danced, they ate, they laughed, and they enjoyed the photobooth. To finish the night, they ran through sparklers to a horse and carriage that they rode to their hotel. What a charming way to end the most perfect wedding! This is definitely one of my all-time favorite weddings…and that is 100% because of the couple. They were so fun and full of joy!!
