Nick & Ashley’s Greek Orthodox Wedding in Dallas
Me: “So once the sermon starts, I can go up to the balcony?”
Priest: “Yes…if you can make it in time.”
Me: “What do you mean”
Priest: “How fast can you climb 62 stairs with your camera gear and still be back down stairs for the kiss”
Me: “How long is your sermon?”
Though I made it and got the picture I wanted, I also found out that I might need to start running again. Whew. That took my breath away! Anyone in McKinney need a workout partner? I have the best intentions…but also the best excuses 🙂 Anywho…
Nick & Ashley got married at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Dallas, which was really neat to experience. They didn’t want any “getting ready” pictures, so the wedding photography began with the ceremony. There was so much symbolic and meaningful about the ceremony…it was eye opening! After the wedding ceremony, we headed to The Windsor at Hebron Park in Carrolton for a reception to remember! I still don’t know if it was Rod’s amazing DJing (is that a word?) or the Greek culture…but the dance for was literally packed!
Speaking of amazing vendors…I have not seen a wedding & reception run so smoothly. Hats off to Julie at Forever Events and Weddings (FEW) for making my job easy the the wedding so memorable!
