Michael & Jessica’s Rustic Wedding at MD Resort
I absolutely love weddings like this…when you get to be a part of a couple’s wedding who are not just in love, but have this undeniable respect for each other and an unquenchable excitement to be married. It was beautiful.
This rustic wedding had this feel of just hanging out at a ranch with some friends. The ceremony began with the bride coming in on a horse drawn carriage and then walking down the aisle through some old rustic reclaimed doors. The couple stood underneath a cedar covering as the violinist played softly through the ceremony. After they officially became Mr. and Mrs., we went over to the tree swing for some pictures before heading to the party barn. Yes, party barn. At the reception they served BBQ for dinner, you filled up your mason jar with lemonade or sweet tea, there was burlap everywhere, outside was a fire pit with s’mores and benches, and country music played all night (for you country folks…this is the best is gets).
It.was.amazing.
If you are into country & rustic…this was scene for that. MD Resort (just outside of Ft. Worth) had a ranch house for getting ready, beautiful trees for an outdoor wedding, a party barn for a country themed reception, and some of the best reception food I have had. Between the amazing venue & love the couple showed, photography here was a breeze. Michael & Jessica had a wedding you would dream of…here are some pictures of the fun we had at their wedding (Oh…and leave Mike & Jess some love in the comments):
