Matt & Rachael’s Winter Wedding at The Plano Courtyard Theatre

After a busy end of the year, some time off with family, and a fast start to 2015, there are several blogs on deck to kick off this year on the blog!

Being a Dallas wedding photographer often takes me all over the metroplex, but during these last stretch of winter weddings in 2014, all my weddings kept me close to my McKinney home. Matt & Rachel got marred at The Courtyard Theater in Downtown Plano, which was a really neat change of pace from the typical wedding venue. And a photographers dream with the wrap around balcony! Though it was freezing cold out, I was able to convince these two to run outside for a few pictures after the ceremony. With Matt and Rachael being related to some really good friends of ours, I felt like I knew them on a different level than most clients [yes Matt & Rachael…I have heard some good stories 🙂 ]! Beautiful wedding, fun reception, and amazing exit where the guest let go of balloons as they walked by.

I love how he looks back at his parents…it’s like a non-verbal “yep…that is my bride. Doesn’t she look amazing in her wedding dress!?!”
