Korey & Kelsey’s Downtown McKinney & Baseball themed Engagement Shoot

Korey & Kelsey are huge baseball fans…both having a history of playing in high school & Korey even went on to play in college. With that, they really wanted to incorporate something with baseball into their engagement pictures. They also had a fun filled day of wedding planning in Mckinney, so we decided it would be best to stay in the area so we had more time for the engagement shoot…which was perfect for me since that is my stomping ground. Being based out of McKinney helped since I not only know where the local fields are…I know the ones where an engagement photographer would only dream of finding 🙂

We started off at some local Frisco/Mckinney baseball fields for some shots in their Rangers gear. Luckily, not all the fields were taken with Saturday morning baseball games. From there we made a quick stop at a park for some nature shots, then headed to downtown McKinney for the artys/urban feel they were looking for.

It was really fun getting to hang out with them and hear their story…and I always love doing an engagement shoot with a feel that has significance to the couples background & passion. This was the perfect day for an engagement session. Here is a little preview of our day…enjoy:
