Kaitlin & Ryan’s Winter Wedding in Allen & Fairview
There are just some weddings where you don’ t just feel like a guest…you feel like family. And this was one of them. I met Kaitlin & Ryan through Ryan’s sister (very good friends of ours), and since then have felt so connected to these 2 and their family. They are such loving & caring people…beyond what is normal. Example: Several times throughout the night, Kaitlin came up to me as made sure I was having fun, made sure I had enough to eat, and made sure I was treated like a guest! That is crazy. On her day…her big day, she is thinking about the photographer? Just shows her heart for others and how she viewed her wedding, not as her day, but a day for families to be united into something much greater than the 2 of them!
Kaitlin and Ryan got married at Creekwood United Methodist Church in Allen (directly south of Downtown McKinney…but very far off the typically traveled roads in Allen). Kaitlin walked down the church aisle in a wedding dress that was made by her mother from Kaitlin’s grandmother’s wedding gown. After a beautiful Christmastime winter wedding, we headed to Noah’s Event Venue in Fairveiw for the reception. A typical reception will consist of the dance floor going back and forth between full and empty. These guest didn’t get that memo though…and literally danced for about 3 hours straight. There was never a moment that it wasn’t packed! It was a great party and and amazing day to be a part of! Here is a little preview of their wedding day just north of Dallas:
