When I first entered the wedding photography scene I thought I knew it all: what was important and what you could save money on so you could use it for those important things (cough…photography). From wedding planning to DJ’s, I had it covered. As a Dallas wedding photographer, I obviously value photography. But what I didn’t realize was how vitally important some of the other roles were in the wedding industry.

So here we go…a series on what I used to think. It is a journey into my mind and how I have grown to love & appreciate the industry in ways I never thought I would.
