Cody & Jessica’s Romantic, Outdoor Wedding, The Castle at Rockwall, TX

Cody and Jessica were married in a romantic outdoor wedding the the Castle at Rockwall, just northeast of Dallas. Jessica could not have picked a better venue to marry her army man at, it was so perfect!
It was a beautiful spring day and then all of a sudden, in the middle of the ceremony, it started to rain. But rain or shine, the show must go on! So they stayed out in the rain, the bride and groom found shelter under an umbrella while the guests ducked under the mens jackets or whatever they had. Cody and Jessica embraced the rain and just loved that it was apart of their. It made for a god story and great fun! Being a Dallas wedding photographer means I have to be prepared for all kinds of weather, since it seems to change every 5 minutes. 😉

The reception was tons of fun with a packed dance floor – which is always what you get when DJ Sneaky is behind the board. Then they left in a old, vintage convertible.
It was such an honor capturing their special day, especially since Cody is a photographer for the army. It’s always a huge compliment when fellow photographer hires you for their wedding.
