Chad & Stephanie’s White Rock Lake Wedding at The Filter Building
This was such an amazing wedding to be a part of. Tracing the steps to how I got to be a part of this amazing couple’s lakefront wedding is incredible…years in the making. Chad’s sister-in-law, Jennifer, taught with my wife before they moved to Colorado a few yeas ago. During that time, I had the opportunity to do pictures for Jennifer’s family on several occasions. Years have passed since then (they moved to Colorado while we stayed in the Dallas/McKinney area)…but Laura and Jennifer hadn’t lost touch. So shortly after Chad & Stephanie got engaged, I got a call from them to grab coffee. And as they say…the rest is history…but history I was able to photograph along the way 🙂
I had so much fun being a part of their lives during this incredible season of life. They are a couple who loves each other and loves pictures…so as you can guess…that makes this photographer go all in. If you attend any bridal show we are a part of, you will see Chad & Stephanie’s downtown Mckinney engagement photo front and center. And now, I feel like I need to print about 10 of Stephanie’s bridal pictures for those show. Have you seen them?? Seriously…the best bridal session ever. It didn’t hurt that Stephanie looked and felt beautiful in her wedding dress!
And now, their wedding. Can you really go wrong by getting married on White Rock Lake at the Filter building? It was beautiful. There was so much emotion and love packed into these few short hours. We can all learn something from Chad in the way he pursues his bride. From surprising her with a live band to bringing their dogs to the reception to say hi, Chad wanted nothing more than to make this the wedding of Stephanie’s dreams. And I am going to go out on a limb and say that I don’t think Stephanie could have dreamed it would have been this good.
Here is a preview of their fun filled day.
