McKinney Newborn Photography Session in a Tie

There is just something special about getting to take pictures of newborns: it’s just amazing to spend 3 hours with a new mom & dad, talking about life, babies, and zzzzzz. Oh, wait….there is always that moment when they take a little nap 🙂

Jeff & Melody found us through the Dallas Mom’s blog, and we are so glad they did! Getting to take their little guys pictures was so sweet & fun, and after all is said and done, we have some new friends!

Here is a little preview of their newborn photography session at my McKinney Studio.

Outdoor Newborn & Family Photoshoot in McKinney

Jodi was scheduled to have her family come to my Dallas Mom’s Blog Mini sessions in Frisco this year…but just days before the shoot in downtown Frisco, her baby decided to come 🙂 So, we scheduled a full session outdoors at Bonnie Wenk Park in McKinney and had fun getting some family shots as well as some of their newest edition. Though it was a little cold out, this little boy did great! Here is a preview of their McKinney session.

Quinn’s McKinney Newborn Session with a Rustic Flare

Quinn is one of those newborns you wish you could photograph all day…sweet, beautiful, and sleeps 🙂

It is always crazy how I get introduced to different clients. Lauren lives just a few streets down from us, but we had never met until this newborn shoot. It was a good friend of ours from college who lives hundreds of miles away who recommended Ryan O’Dowd Photography to Lauren. It is so neat to have a mutual friend and crazy that we are neighbors!

Here is a preview of sweet baby Quinn’s newborn session at my McKinney home studio.

Sweet Arden’s Newborn Pictures | McKinney Photography Studio

Many moons ago, when I was starting this photography business which is now called “Ryan O’Dowd Photography,” I headed out to White Rock Lake for my first ever engagement/couples shoot with Rustin & Sam. I had high hopes of what could be, but had no idea that many years later I would be in my studio with this same couple, with a full blown photography business, sitting in my photography studio doing their 2nd baby’s newborn pictures. Looking back, I am so grateful that these friends of ours believed in me. Grateful that they allowed me to take their pictures when it was all beginning. And grateful to see how far we have come. And it is moments like this that I remember why I do what I do. It is the relationship I have formed and the way in which I get to capture these beautiful memories for families to enjoy for years to come.

Here is a little preview of sweet little Arden’s newborn pictures at my McKinney studio. It was so great hanging out with them and getting to meet their little girl. Enjoy:
