Family Photos at the Farmhouse

The Jenkins came out to the Farmhouse McKinney for their family photo session. James is a friend of mine from years ago in the wedding industry when we both were wedding photographers. Since being a wedding photographer, James has switched careers and is now an insurance agent, helping families protect what is most valuable to them. And now he is specifically focusing on small businesses – which is an area that is pretty neglected, making us small business owners struggle to find a good agent who will take care of us.

All that to say, it is always super fun to do pictures for someone who truly values pictures. It is both a compliment and an honor to get hired to be the photographer for a fellow photographer. We had so much fun catching up and capturing their sweet family of 3. Here is a little sneak peak of their session.

Lakeside Park, Dallas Family Photos

Lakeside Park in Dallas/Highland Park was the location for this years Harnett family photos. Last year, we were just down the road at Prather Park, so to change it up a bit without going too far from where they live, Lakeside Park was the perfect spot. The bridge, lake, & trees were the perfect backdrop. And the dogs and ducks helped distract the little guy when he was getting tired or taking photos. Here are some pictures from their Lakeside park family photo session just before the rain set in.

What’s Your Story?

I don’t take for granted the privilege it is to capture people’s story! I shot Kevin and Rhonda’s wedding a few years ago, and here they are at a new milestone! Kevin and Rhonda’s maternity photos were taken at Bonnie Wenk Park in Mckinney. They are so excited about their newest addition! As you can probably already tell, I absolutely love capturing the landmark moments in couple’s lives. From their wedding day to starting their family, it’s all so special to be a part of. What’s your story? My wife and I would love to be there to document just a small snippet. One small glance of a moment in time can share stories that last for a lifetime.
