Bring the rain! A Rustic Rainy wedding.

Rain on your wedding day isn’t on the schedule. It isn’t in the dreams. But it sure makes for some amazing photos! Ryan and Kelsey had a rainy wedding out at Rustic Grace Estate. The good news…the rain let up enough so we could run outside for a few shots at his gorgeous venue. Since Rustic Grace estate has finished construction on their new silos, it has been incredible to shot weddings out there. The space, the light, the industrial feel mixed with the rustic barn….it is all so amazing for photos. And even more amazing when it rains, because there is plenty of room to enjoy their indoor space and so many windows to still enjoy the beautiful pond & countryside even while stuck indoors.

Ryan and Kelsey are the kind of could that makes you feel like family. I had so much fun with them and their friends, it was as if I was invited to the wedding as a guest, not a wedding photographer. We laughed, joked, told stories, and just enjoyed spending time with this couple and their guests. You wouldn’t have even known it rained because there wasn’t much concern my this amazing couple. Rain or shine, there were their to celebrate, and that is exactly what they did. Getting photos outside was just the icing on the cake. Oh, and even more icing on the cake was when the owner called the horses up to the fence so Kelsey, who rides horses, could get a few photos with their horses.
