Tonya & Lee were married at Gilley’s in Dallas on a beautiful spring evening! These sports lovers and dog lovers had their dachshunds dogs all dressed up and ready for the big day.

The day started across the street at the NYLO Dallas, where we were able to get some fun pictures in this modern Dallas hotel. The hotel has a rooftop, but the wind kept us from taking advantage of that spot. After the NYLO we walked over to Gilley’s rooftop for a windy but beautiful ceremony overlooking the Dallas skyline.

Their reception was tons of fun! Lots of dancing, lots of sports rivalry (because Lee is a big Patriots fan while Tonya is loyal to her Cowboys), and lots of laugher. This was the kind of reception that could have gone on all night! And to end the evening, these sports fans had all their guest wave a foam finger on their way out.

Miranda and Josh had their summer wedding at Rustic Grace Estate in Van Alstyne. There are certain couples that just ooze with love, and this was one of those couples. They were all smiles, all night. They began with their beautiful ceremony in the white chapel at Rustic Grace. Such a classic setting for a wedding! Following the ceremony in the white chapel, they headed over to the rustic red barn for the party. And these two dance ALL night! It was so fun! Their only break was when I snuck them outside for some photos at sunset… Because sometimes the photographer can give you a little break! This was one of those weddings where I left feeling like family. Everyone there was so kind and made the wedding such a blast! As a photographer, this is one of those weddings where you could put all the photos on the portfolio and you would be set!

Indoor weddings are a safe option in our ever changing Dallas weather. I met Laura and Jeff at the Chapel Ana Villa open house and immediately clicked with them. After hearing about their story and what they were looking for, they were super excited to hire Laura and I to capture their wedding. Having a summer wedding in Dallas is tough, because it is HOT! So Laura and Jeff were so kind to all the guests by choosing a venue that is all indoors! Chapel Ana Villa has a beautiful chapel and reception room to host everything inside. So you get to avoid the heat and avoid driving around Dallas. Which photographers love. Because more drive time is less time doing photography. And the more photos the better!
Laura and Jeff had an intimate ceremony and reception with their friends on a Sunday afternoon. And before the sun set, they were off to their honeymoon. Here is little preview of their Chapel Ana Villa wedding.
