An engagement session at a brewery feels more like hanging out with friends than it does work. So yes, anyone who wants to do this, give me a call! It was so much fun hanging out with James and Angela. They wanted to do their session in Dallas at their favorite brewery: Peticolas Brewing Company. It is where they had their first date and many other since then. It is a special place for them, so the perfect place to capture them in their element. They were even on their best behavior when they played foosball. Before their BAC got too high, we headed out to a local Dallas park for some pictures in nature. It is always fun to mix up the session with someone more casual with somewhere more formal. We had a great time at Peticolas Brewing Company. And maybe next time I am there I won’t be holding a camera. Just enjoying the brewery with friends. Oh, and special thanks to all the guys at Peticolas. They were amazing, and even let us back in the tank room!
Miranda and Kristian got married at the Frisco Heritage Center following their Prestonwood Baptist Church chapel ceremony.
It was such an honor to be a part of their wedding. Kristian is active Air Force, and with that they had to shift the wedding date and plans to accommodate his leave. With a little less time to plan, it went off without a hitch! Their ceremony at the Chapel at Prestonwood Baptist church was both charming and beautiful. It was such an intimate and heartfelt ceremony that truly displayed the love these two have for each other.
The Frisco Heritage center, not too far from the new Frisco Rail Yard, was such a charming spot for this couple to celebrate their wedding. It has the historic Frisco Charm which went along great with Kristian and all his Air Force buddies stealing the show. They were just so much fun to be around and to be a part of their day.
Here is a little preview of the Prestonwood & Frisco Heritage Center Wedding. Enjoy the pictures.
Engagement photos in the fog was not the plan. In fact, the plan was for a sunrise engagement session at Erwin Park. I woke up that morning, looked out side, and verbally said “yes! Fog!”. Now I am sure Leah’s initial reaction wasn’t the same. You don’t usually get excited to wake up super early for sunrise when the sun is no where to be found. But as we started walking around through the fog, Leah and Adam saw how unique and beautiful it was. And you can’t plan for a morning like this…so it was super special to have a session scheduled! With the pond, the trees, and the fog this made for a super fun engagement session! It gave a little edge to the photos and the lighting was perfect from a photographer’s perspective. If I could schedule more engagement sessions in fog I would. But since I can’t, I will just have to enjoy looking at these until next time.
Now in just a few months these two will get married at Chapel Ana Villa. Which rain, shine, or fog is a beautiful place to tie the knot! Here are some of their engagement photos until then:
Avalon Legacy Ranch in McKinney with the Cantina Caravan was the perfect combination for this amazing Springtime wedding! Joe and Sam wanted a party that was fun, casual, and felt like a fun place where everyone could gather & enjoy. Avalon Legacy Ranch was the perfect backdrop for such a wedding. The outdoor space was an incredible spot to park the Cantina Caravan for people to come up for drinks and just enjoy the beautiful evening.
Oh, and did I mention this wedding was on May 5th? So why not bring in the margaritas, sombreros, and make it a huge celebration! They even brought a bunch of Mexican themed props for HoneyBird Photobooth to use! The photo booth was busy all night!
Joe and Sam were so much fun! From getting to do their engagement photos on their parents land, to shooting their beautiful wedding at Avalon Legacy Ranch, they kept a smile on their face through all of it! Here is a preview of their fun filled outdoor wedding.
