Ashley & Collins JFK inspired Engagement Shoot | Dallas Fair Park & Old Red Museum
So Ashley had this idea of doing a JFK inspired engagement shoot, which I thought sounded like a fun idea, but honestly had no idea how this would go. Well, Ashely did not leave a detail out in her planning. From the Old Red Museum in downtown dallas to the hats & outfits, to a boat (which the Kennedy’s often had pictures on)…this was a well planned Dallas engagement shoot!
I had tons of fun spending the day with Ashley & Collin. They are absolutely hilarious to be around, which made the day more like hanging out with friends instead a day at work. This day made me excited for their wedding in Austin this October! Here is how it went:
We started the morning off at the Old Red Museum (formerly the Old Red Courthouse back in the JFK days), which was presumably the last thing President Kennedy saw from his convertible in his last moments of life. The windows and architecture on this courthouse made for some fantastic lighting and beautiful shots. We then headed to Fair Park for some shots around some of the historic buildings, the cotton bowl, and fairs wheel. We finished the day taking a boat ride on Lake Lewisville.
Here is a little preview of our day having fun & taking engagement pictures. Leave Collin & Ashly some love in the comments!
